Prof. Shlomo Kalish

Founded Jerusalem Global ventures in 1994. Over this time led investments in several successful companies.

Prior to starting his investment career, he served in the Israeli Air Force as a fighter pilot. He holds a Ph.D. in Operations Research from MIT, an M.Sc. from the Sloan School of Management at MIT and a B.Sc. from Tel Aviv University. 


Prof Kalish is active on the boards of many nonprofit and academic institutions, including Shalom Beineinu, a charitable organization he founded, the Board of Governors The Technion, The Jerusalem College of Technology, and is as an advisor to Yeda Research, the licensing arm of Weizmann Institute.

Adv. Lior Sofer

Lior Sofer practice focuses on the representation of high-tech startup companies as well as established corporations, venture capital funds, and multinational companies, with an emphasis on private equity financings, commercial transactions, strategic investments and mergers, and acquisitions. He also provides ongoing consultation on legal issues that arise in the course of a corporation’s business.

Lior received HIS LLB, at The Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) Herzliya in 2012 and was admitted to the Israel Bar in 2012.

Lior is a certified mediator and sits on the Israeli Bar Associations’ Hi-Tech Board.

Ran Meged

Ran is a retired LTC, turned-tech-entrepreneur with passion for knowledge. Ran initiated the Israeli Lean Launchpad and serves as the Merage Institute leader for the Israeli Lean Launchpad in collaboration with the Hebrew University, Startup Nation Central, and the Jerusalem Development Authority. Ran leads his own startup named Hopit Since 2016 on its mission to create the Internet of Knowledge in collaboration with the academic world. 

Lior Krengel

Lior joined monday.com to launch a giving back initiative for the startup community. Lior was formerly a Principal at Mangrove Capital Partners, a European VC, where she focused on investing in early-stage startups. Her engagement and contribution to the startup ecosystem began as she served as the General Manager of the co-working space for entrepreneurship and innovation, “The Library Tel Aviv”.
